Recommended Dilutions Activates adenylate cyclase by directly interacting with the catalytic subunit of the enzyme EC50=2-10 μM. Cell permeable and active in vivo. Most cell culture studies employ a working concentration of 5 or 10 μM. Do not make stock solutions in ethanol. Ethanol inhibits forskolin activation of adenylate cyclase. 1,9-Dideoxyforskolin may be used as a negative control.
Storage/Stability Store solutions at -20°C for up to 1 year.
