Catalog Number:
E14-02Amount:
100μg/100μlBackground:
Catalase is a homotetrameric heme-containing enzyme present in all aerobic cells. It catalyzes a dismutation reaction in which hydrogen peroxide is converted to water and oxygen. Catalase has been implicated as an important factor in inflammation, mutagenesis, anti-apoptosis, and tumorigenesis. Deficiency of catalase could lead to the human genetic disease, including acatalasemia or Takahara's disease.Immunogen:
ecombinant human catalase (rh-Catalase), C-terminal of CatalasePurification:
Purified by protein A columnStorage/Stability:
Store at -20 oC upon arrival for one year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.Form of Antibody:
Each vial at least contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of 0.01 M PBS, PH7.4, 1 mg/ml BSA, 20 % glycerol, 0.01 % (w/v) NaN3Limitation:
