  • Immunogen:

    The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Caveolin 2 around the phosphorylation site of tyrosine 27 (L-E-YP-A-D).

  • Purification:

    The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography usingepitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

  • Specificity/Sensitivity:

    Caveolin 2 (Phospho-Tyr27) antibody detects endogenous levels of Caveolin 2 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 27.
