  • Immunogen:

    The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human HP1γ around the phosphorylation site of serine 93 (R-K-SP-L-S).

  • Purification:

    The antibody was affinity-purified fromrabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

  • Specificity/Sensitivity:

    HP1γ (Phospho-Ser93) antibody detects endogenous levels of HP1γ only when phosphorylated at serine 93.
