The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human HSP27 around the phosphorylation site of serine15 (G-P-SP-W-D).Purification:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.Specificity/Sensitivity:
HSP27 (phospho-Ser15) antibody detects endogenous levels of HSP27only when phosphorylated at serine 15.Reactivity:
