Other Names EC 1.14.16.4, TPH, TRPH, tryptophan 5-hydroxylase 1, tryptophan 5-monooxygenase 1
All Sites Human: Ser58; Mouse: Ser61; Rat: Ser58
Storage/Stability Store at -20℃/1 year
Form Or Antibody
Form of Antibody Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Immunogen The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Tryptophan Hydroxylase around the phosphorylation site of serine 58 (R-N-SP-E-F).
Purification The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody againstnon-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography
using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Specificty Sensitivity
Specificity/Sensitivity Tryptophan Hydroxylase (Phospho-Ser58) antibody detects endogenous levels of Tryptophan Hydroxylase only when phosphorylated at serine 58.
