Other Names CAM kinase-GR, CAMK4, CaMK IV, CaMKIV, Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase type IV catalytic chain, Calspermin, EC 2.7.11.17, KCC4, kinase CaMK4
All Sites Human: Thr200; Mouse: Thr196; Rat: Thr196
Storage/Stability Store at -20℃/1 year
Form Or Antibody
Form of Antibody Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Immunogen The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human CaMK4 around the phosphorylation site of threonine 196/200 (M-K-TP-V-C).
Purification The antibody was affinity-purified fromrabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Specificty Sensitivity
Specificity/Sensitivity CaMK4 (Phospho-Thr196/200) antibody detects endogenous levels of CaMK4 only when phosphorylated at threonine 196/200.
