Form Or Antibody
Form of Antibody Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Immunogen The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human PKD1/2/3/PKC μ around the phosphorylation site of serine 738and serine 742 (E-K-SP-F-R-R-SP-V-V).
Purification The antibody was affinity-purified fromrabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Specificty Sensitivity
Specificity/Sensitivity PKD1/2/3/PKC μ (Phospho-Ser738+Ser742) antibody detects endogenous levels of PKD1/2/3/PKC μ only when phosphorylated at serine 738and serine 742.
