Other Names BNOS, Constitutive NOS, EC 1.14.13.39, N-NOS, NC-NOS, NOS, type I, NOS1, Neuronal NOS, Nitric-oxide synthase, brain, bNOS
All Sites Human: Ser852; Mouse: Ser847; Rat: Ser847
Storage/Stability Store at -20℃/1 year
Form Or Antibody
Form of Antibody Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Immunogen The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human n-NOS around the phosphorylation site of serine 847 (F-N-SP-V-S).
Purification The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Specificty Sensitivity
Specificity/Sensitivity n-NOS (Phospho-Ser852) antibody detects endogenous levels of n-NOS only when phosphorylated at serine 847.
