All Names
Altername5'-AMP-activated protein kinase beta-1 subunit, AAKB1, AMPK beta-1 chain, AMPK-beta1, PRKAB1, kinase AMPK-beta1
All SitesHuman: Ser181; Mouse: Ser181; Rat: Ser181
Form Or Antibody
Form of AntibodyRabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Storage/StabilityStore at -20℃/1 year
ImmunogenThe antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human AMPK β1 around the phosphorylation site of serine 181 (S-S-SP-P-P).
PurificationThe antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Specificty Sensitivity
Specificity/SensitivityAMPK β1 (Phospho-Ser181) antibody detects endogenous levels of AMPK β1 only when phosphorylated at serine 181.
