ImmunogenThe antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human IKK-a/b around the phosphorylation site of serine 176 (Q-G-SP-L-C).
PurificationThe antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Specificty Sensitivity

Specificity/SensitivityIKK-a/b (Phospho-Ser176) antibody detects endogenous levels of IKK-a/b only when phosphorylated at serine 176.
