    Inhibitor of MEK (MAP kinase kinase) activation. Maximal effects on MAP kinase activation, in cell culture, observed at 10-100 μM. Dilute directly from DMSO stock into buffered media, with stirring. Bovine serum albumin (6.6 mg/ml) has been found to prevent precipitation of PD-98059 in aqueous media (assayed with PD-98059 up to 100 μM).
