3. Sample Analysis 3.1 Dilute the unknown DNA sample with 1×TE to the required volume (1.0 mL for a 10×10 mm cuvette, or 25–100 μL for a microplate). High dilution of the sample ensures that any contaminants are maximally diluted. However, avoid using a sample volume that is too small for accurate aspiration. Remove RNA and ssDNA from the sample as described in Section 4.
